Unheard Love

Lose your sanity
Regain your strength
Hide your thoughts
Surprise your imagination
Debate your lie
Move your feet
Hunt your victim
Watch your steps
Dominate your feelings
Break your chains
Enclose your paranoia
Acknowledge your mistake
Live your life
Reminiscence your past
Touch your desire
Destroy your bliss
Modify your facade
Retreat your piece
Alarm your defences
Make your choice

Touch

"Millions and millions of years would still not give me half enough time to describe that tiny instant of all eternity when you put your arms around me and I put my arms around you."

The Lesson

I keep on dying again.
Veins collapse, opening like the
Small fists of sleeping
Children.
Memory of old tombs,
Rotting flesh and worms do
Not convince me against
The challenge. The years
And cold defeat live deep in
Lines along my face.
They dull my eyes, yet
I keep on dying,
Because I love to live.

Still I Rise

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

I Sit and Think

I sit beside the fire and think
of all that I have seen,
of meadow-flowers and butterflies
in summers that have been;

Of yellow leaves and gossamerin
autumns that there were,
with morning mist and silver sun
and wind upon my hair.

I sit beside the fire and think
of how the world will be
when winter comes without a spring
that I shall never see.

For still there are so many things
that I have never seen:
in every wood in every springs
there is a different green.

I sit beside the fire and think
of people long ago,
and people who will see a world
that I sall never know.

But all the while I sit and think
of times there were before,
I listen for returning feet
and voices at thr door.

Belive

Alguns acreditam que o passado pode voltar
Alguns acreditam que não exista destino
Alguns acreditam que nada é por acaso
Alguns acreditam que caminhos não se cruzam
Alguns acreditam que os segredos ficarão
eternamente ocultos

E alguns... apenas acreditam
